ABOUT
NNERPP’s California RPP Subnetwork is a specialized learning community within NNERPP specifically for NNERPP member partnerships who are based in California. The purpose of this NNERPP subnetwork of California members are three-fold objectives:
1. Synthesize, produce and use research aimed at impacting local and state practices and policies
2. Engage with California school districts, county, state and research agencies to increase access to and engagement in RPP collaboration
3. Grow the number of California district and state leaders who use research evidence to inform decisions about equity-centered changes in policy and practice
NNERPP members in California form a design team to plan the infrastructure necessary to build capacity needed to achieve the network objectives.
The design team:
-
- • attends design team meetings 4x / year (three online, one in-person at the NNERPP Annual Forum)
- • identifies a collective research agenda
- • synthesizes existing research on pressing topics
- • reflects on effectiveness of the network
NNERPP members in California host opportunities for engaging in collective research-based learning and collaborative research with other RPPs, districts, and educational and research organizations.
